Saw a pic of the Deco pickguard online on someones Tele and knew I had to have it. Did a search and found Decoboom...wow! I had a Nash TD63, had a custom Warmoth neck built, Ebony board, binding, block markers. I painted the headstock. It came with a plain single ply white guard. Looked meh. I actually put it up for sale, no takers in 2 months, so it sat...until I saw the Deco guard. It has a killer Deco vibe I love and it just popped with the Ebony board/blocks. I had to glue 4 round toothpicks to fill the holes that didn't line up. No biggie as the guard hides it. I didn't have a decal on the headstock, but I had a Telecaster Custom decal from a Tele build that never happened. The black lettering was perfect to carry the new black on Seafoam look with the new pickguard. So glad it didn't sell...love the Tele now!

Looks great, assembled easy, only issue was it was missing a whole just to the right of the neck for a screw; it leaves it a bit bouncy but still works fine and looks good.

I had been eyeing one of these pickguards for awhile, and finally decided to spring for the Streamline. All I can say is-wow! I finally feel like my Telecaster is complete. It complements the Art Deco look perfectly, not to mention its durability so far is fantastic. Thank you Decoboom, for bringing it all together. It was well worth the wait!

I've been wanting a pickguard from Decoboom for a while now, and the perfect opportunity finally came up when I converted this Tele from a neck humbucker to a single coil. It was difficult to choose from so many awesome designs! I ultimately went with the black/cream Streamline design, which was perfect for a worn-in guitar such as mine (a mid-90s Tele special).
The pickguard itself is superb quality. Of all the aftermarket pickguards I've purchased, none have fit my guitar more perfectly than this one. The double layer of plastic protected it well, and pealing it away revealed all the lines to be perfectly painted.
Overall, I'm thrilled with this product from Decoboom. I love its unique design and how awesome it makes my guitar look. Can't wait to find an excuse to order another one!
